I was drawn to drawing and painting since childhood, captivated by the magic of bringing ideas and emotions to life through creative expression. But it was later in life, while taking college courses in ceramic sculpture, that I truly discovered my artistic home — working with clay. From the moment my hands touched the earth, I fell in love with the process, and that passion has continued to deepen through years of exploration, growth, and joyful discovery.

Nature remains my greatest source of inspiration, especially the beauty, spirit, and personality found in God’s creatures. Much of my work takes on a whimsical character, reflecting the playful and expressive energy that naturally flows through me and insists on taking form in clay.

In 1994, a move to the Sacramento area opened the door to new artistic opportunities and meaningful connections. Over the years, my work has been exhibited extensively throughout the greater Sacramento region and across California, as well as in galleries in Oregon and Nevada. Currently, I show my work at the Auburn Old Town Gallery in Auburn CA. I am a long time member and enjoy sharing the company of many like minded and creative souls.
